Mango Pie

Delicious, easy to make, and you can’t go wrong with mangoes.


3 cups diced mango
3/4 cup sugar
Thickener: 2 Tbsp flour or 1 Tbsp cassava starch
Pie shell


Combine the mango, sugar, and thickener.  Stir to mix.  Set aside.

Pour the filling into the pie crust.  Cover with a lattice crust.

Bake as any pie.


I wasn’t able to shoot a video of making this pie, because mango season was over before I started making videos.  But I made a video showing how to pit and peel a mango.
